The German name Wiflisburg is totally out of use in our time. The town is called Avenches in the Swiss Kanton Waadt (Vaud)

The map shows the south-west area of Switzerland. Basically the area between Bieler See – Neuburgersee (Lac de Neuchatel) – Murtensee – Thuner See and Lake Geneva (Genfer See – Lac Leman).

General age toning. Along north side of Thuner See oxidation on reverse side of the green color has broken the paper (along lake). 

This has been repaired. Occasional little repairs along margin edges.
