Woodcut from the “Cosmographia” by Sebastian Muenster. Basel, ca. 1550

Light general age toning. Vertical folds have been reinforced. Upper margin widened. Lower margin reinforced. One missing piece of paper bottom center has been replaced (not part of image, only river bank). Some traces of age, like vertical creases. But in general a desireable woodcut. Like all the very wide Muenster prints, this print was made from two separate wood blocks and the set together.
